We’re making checkouts faster, safer, and smarter—starting today.
PayMongo is proud to be the first payment service provider in the Philippines to launch Mastercard Click to Pay, enabling one-click, card-free checkouts for merchants across the country. It’s part of our broader mission: to help growing businesses simplify their financial operations and scale with ease.
Starting March 27, 2025, Click to Pay has been automatically enabled for eligible PayMongo merchants—no setup needed.
Why Click to Pay matters for your business
The checkout experience is often the most overlooked part of a customer journey—but it’s where conversions live or die. With every extra step or form field, the chances of a completed sale drop.
That’s why Mastercard developed Click to Pay: a faster, more seamless way to complete online card payments with no typing, no friction, and no risk of cart abandonment.
Here’s what the numbers say:
- Up to 94% conversion rate for returning users
- Up to 40% faster checkout times
- Enhanced security via Mastercard tokenization and device recognition
For businesses, that translates to more completed purchases, higher revenue, and a better customer experience.
How Click to Pay works
Click to Pay uses Mastercard’s secure infrastructure to store cardholder details, so customers don’t have to manually enter their 16-digit card number or expiration date at checkout.
Here’s how it flows:
- One-time opt-in: First-time users set up Click to Pay during checkout by securely saving their card.
- Faster future checkouts: Returning customers see a Click to Pay prompt and complete their purchase instantly with one click.
It works with both Mastercard and Visa cards—maximizing compatibility and user reach.
