PayMongo appoints Isabel Ridad as Acting CEO

24 November 2022 –We are pleased to formally announce the appointment of PayMongo Chief Operating Officer Isabel Ridad as the company’s acting CEO effective as of 10 November 2022. She will be succeeding the company’s co-founder Mr. Francis Plaza, who is stepping down as President & CEO effective 30 November 2022, to pursue other ventures. In recognition of his invaluable contributions, Mr. Plaza will be engaged as an Advisor to the Boards of PayMongo Inc., PayMongo Philippines and PayMongo Payments.
Ridad is no stranger to PayMongo, as she joined in early 2021 as Chief of Staff and has been working as the company’s Chief Operating Officer since February of this year. With under 15 years of experience under her belt as well as her background, skill, and dedication to face the current market climate, PayMongo believes that she is the best person to lead the company in this period of transition.
